GLASSWASHERS
GLASSWASHING IN FOODSERVICE
Up to 25 glasses in less than two minutes. Hygienically clean and quick drying. With professional water treatment, polish-free and with a brilliant shine. That’s glasswashing!
Who invented glasswashers? This is not a simple question to answer. One thing is certain: Winterhalter took care of glasswashing from a very early stage. In 1969, our engineers developed the first commercial warewasher specifically for glasses – and solved a problem faced by foodservice professionals all over the world. That was how the small factory in Meckenbeuren, Germany became the birthplace of professional glasswashing. Since then, we have continually perfected the washing of glasses: today’s system solution combines glasswasher, water treatment, chemicals and rack. Welcome to the home of glasswashing!
WHAT BENEFITS DOES A GLASSWASHER OFFER?
Anyone who regularly washes a large number of glasses and wants to work in a professional manner needs a glasswasher. Plus water treatment, suitable chemicals and special glass racks. This is because only this system solution can meet the high demands that both foodservice professionals and guests place on washed glasses. The great thing about a glasswasher is that it is an investment that pays off immediately. And several times over.

HOW SHOULD YOUR GLASSES BE WASHED?
Delicate wine glasses. Champagne glasses with a thin stem. Small aperitif glasses, robust water glasses and large beer tankards. Beer glasses with decorations and glasses with engraving. When looking for the perfect solution, the key questions are: What kind of glasses do you wash most regularly? And what do you expect from the wash result?
CLEAN AND FAST
When washing glasses for beer, water, soft drinks or cocktails, it’s all about cleanliness and hygiene. And speed. Staff shortages and rising wages are pushing the issue of economic efficiency into even sharper focus: washing glasses should require as little manpower as possible while guaranteeing first-class wash results. Compared to manual washing, the Winterhalter system solution is therefore clearly the superior option: more hygienically safe and economical. Up to 25 clean, washed glasses in less than two minutes.
SPARKLING AND SHINY
Glasses for red and white wine, prosecco and champagne are all about feel, aesthetics and optimal aroma development. The glasses are delicate and elegant, have a thin profile and are fragile to handle. This means that they are very demanding when it comes to washing. Winterhalter has developed a solution for this: the system for glasswashing protects and preserves the delicate material. And with optimally treated water, the glasses come out of the machine polish-free and shiny. Up to 25 glasses in less than two minutes.
