U50 PRODUCT FEATURES

The U50 makes things as easy as possible when it comes to washing: with two different washing programmes. A standard programme for normal dirt and an intensive programme with high temperature for heavy-duty cleaning. All the relevant washing parameters are adapted perfectly to the specific requirements. There is also a short programme specifically for peak times, which takes less than 1 minute.

The heart of the U50: inside the machine, two elliptical wash fields at the top and bottom deliver optimal washing quality. These are the result of many years of development, and their shape and the specific geometry of their jets provide maximum coverage and washing power.

The cleaner the wash water, the better the wash result. That’s why every Winterhalter warewasher is equipped with the tried and tested, efficient threefold wash water filtration system. During stage 1, a strainer filters the largest dirt particles out of the wash water. During stage 2, the filter cylinder with its fine filter removes smaller dirt particles. Finally, during stage 3, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.

The last thing you do before you go home: the U50 has a guided self-cleaning programme to ensure the machine works perfectly for many years. Fully automatic cleaning of the interior of the machine is started via the display. User-friendly pictograms on the display then guide you through the subsequent manual cleaning stages. The drain pump takes any residual water out of the machine and prevents deposits and odours.

Easy and clear: the colour-coded display with self-explanatory pictograms is intuitive to use. It shows at a glance which mode the machine is currently in: heating up, washing or ready for operation. The start button works using the one-button principle. This means that the U50 can also be used safely by inexperienced staff or where staff change frequently.

Gentle treatment of delicate dishes: when the wash cycle starts, the U50 builds up the washing pressure gradually and continuously. This ensures optimal protection of the dishes.

Behind the U50 there is a carefully thought-out concept for perfect hygiene and convenient cleaning. There is a special hygienic rack guide. The tank is deep-drawn and has a hygienic heating element. All this means: there are no nooks, crannies or concealed corners in the interior in which dirt can accumulate or deposits can form. In conjunction with the integrated self-cleaning programme, the cleaning work required by your staff is therefore kept to a minimum. A neat solution.

Rinsing is crucial to achieving perfectly hygienic wash results. But only if the rinsing temperature is right. The U50 monitors this: the Thermostopp device does not allow the rinsing process to begin until the temperature in the boiler has reached 85 °C.

The integrated error management system in the U50 ensures that all errors that occur are saved and can be retrieved. This makes troubleshooting easier for the service technician and minimises downtime. 

No streaks. Fast drying. Brilliant shine. A rinse aid offers plenty of advantages – if the dose is right. The U50 will take care of this automatically for you: the space-saving integrated rinse aid dosing device, which is available as an option, ensures exact dosing for maximum cost-effectiveness. And thus delivers the perfect rinsing and drying results.

The U50 is available with an integrated detergent dosing device as an option. The advantage: dosing of the cleaner is matched perfectly to the items being washed and how dirty they are. This ensures the perfect wash result and avoids unnecessary costs because of overdosage.
