Easy and clear: the touch screen with self-explanatory pictograms is intuitive to use. The start button works on the basis of the one-button principle and simultaneously indicates the progress of the wash cycle. There is also a quick-start button, which is positioned ergonomically. Upon entering their PIN, chefs and service technicians have access to a secure area with additional functions.

The cleaner the wash water, the better the wash result. That’s why every Winterhalter warewasher is equipped with the tried and tested, efficient fourfold wash water filtration system. During stage 1, a strainer filters the largest dirt particles out of the wash water. During stage 2, the filter cylinder with fine filter removes smaller dirt particles. The Mediamat then filters out the finest particles, such as coffee grounds, during stage 3. Finally, during stage 4, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.

Would you like to ensure that your UF is ready to use as quickly as possible? Then look no further than the optional and extremely efficient performance heating element: you can boost the output of your tank and boiler heating and reduce heating times. This is a particular advantage at peak times and when filling the UF.

Say that your tank water is very cloudy. Because of sauces, for example. And the concentration of soiling cannot be removed by filtration alone. That’s when the UF Series puts plan B into operation: the tank water exchange programme. Depending on the amount of soiling and the time available, 30%, 50% or 100% of the total tank capacity can be replaced – without having to launch the self-cleaning programme. This means the machine is soon ready to be used again with optimal tank water quality.

Sometimes washing can be very difficult: in these cases, dried or baked-on dirt should be soaked first. The standard UF soaking programme takes care of this: before the actual wash cycle, the wash items are soaked with the tank water. This helps to release stubborn dirt effectively. What’s more, you save the time and expense of manual pre-washing. Would you like to achieve the perfect wash result in even less time? Then you can combine the programme with the »TurboZyme« soaking process and the special »Crust Cracker« soaking agent or cold water pre-washing.

The UF Series has a carefully thought out approach for perfect hygiene and convenient cleaning. There is a special hygienic rack guide. The tank is deep-drawn and has a hygienic heating element. All this means: there are no hiding places or concealed corners in the interior in which dirt can accumulate or deposits can form. A neat solution.

At the end of a working day: The UF has a guided self-cleaning programme, to ensure the machine works perfectly for many years. Fully automatic cleaning of the interior of the machine is started using the touch screen. User-friendly pictograms on the display then guide you through the subsequent manual cleaning stages. The drain pump takes any residual water out of the machine and prevents deposits or odours.

The UF makes things as easy as possible when it comes to washing: with three different washing programmes. One for light soiling, one for normal and one for heavy soiling. All the relevant washing parameters are adapted perfectly to the specific requirements. 

A clever detail, an impressive solution: the interior of the UF can be cleaned easily, quickly and without straining your back. The heavy stainless steel rack no longer has to be lifted out and put down somewhere: it can simply be folded up conveniently for cleaning.

The UF uses every available opportunity for reducing energy costs: stand-by mode switches on automatically during wash breaks and the boiler temperature drops – only to a level that the rinse water can be heated to the set temperature again during the next wash cycle. Your UF uses less energy as a result, yet it is always ready for operation.

A powerful duo: in addition to the rinse aid dosing device that is fitted as standard, the UF is available with an integral detergent dosing device as an option. The advantage: the detergent dosing device is integrated into the machine to save space and guarantees perfect wash results thanks to precise dosing.

Heavy encrustation is a challenge for any warewasher. Winterhalter has also developed a solution for this: the »TurboZyme« soaking process with the special »Crust Cracker« agent, which is added via an optional dosing device. This ensures that the special chemical agent is dosed correctly during the soaking process. As much as necessary and as economically as possible.

Intermediate shelves are available as accessories for UF machines: with this option, open Euronorm transport racks can be washed on two levels. The washing capacity is therefore doubled in one fell swoop.

No streaks, fast drying: thanks to the right rinse aid dosing. The UF Series takes care of this automatically for you: the space-saving integrated rinse aid dosing device provides precise dosing that is as economical as possible. And delivers the perfect rinsing and drying results.

With the UF Series, you have everything under control. Including foam formation, which can be caused by proteins in the machine and has a negative impact on the wash result. With the optional UF dosing device, special defoaming components are added to the wash water. Entirely automatically. For a consistently good wash result.
