DATA TRANSFER
The machine only transfers operating data (e.g. temperatures) and machine notifications (e.g. fault messages). No personal data, location data (GPS) or audio/video data is transferred.
As soon as the machine is connected, it regularly sends data.
DATA PROTECTION AND DATA SECURITY
The data is completely secure. It is stored and backed up in our Winterhalter data centre in Meckenbeuren.
The machine is equipped with “buffer storage”, so the data is not lost. As soon as the internet connection is working again, the data is sent.
In this case there is a fall-back server which stores the data during this time. Thus no data is lost.
ACTIVATE CONNECTED WASH ON THE MACHINE (PAIRING)
The procedure varies for each machine. You can find the appropriate instructions for your machine on the registration confirmation page. Open the registration page here and enter your machine number again to access the appropriate instructions.
Please check your internet connection (e.g. WLAN password) and if necessary, your firewall settings. Check that the technical requirements are met: www.connected-wash.biz/tech-requirements.
Normal washing will not be impaired by the internet connection failing.
You access the web configuration interface by entering the IP address of the warewasher (see PIN Menu) into your browser (only relevant for machines with a blue display). Register with the username “admin” and the password “admin”. You can change the password in the area on the left-hand side. Please make a note of your password.

CONNECTED WASH WEB APP
The factory setting means that you receive a notification only in the case of a serious error or particular machine conditions (e.g. lack of detergent). However, you can adjust these settings in the web app (CONNECTED WASH / SETTINGS / Manage notifications) at any time.
Open MY.WINTERHALTER and open CONNECTED WASH / SETTINGS / Manage access. Here you can approve access to your machine for other users.
If the current machine date and time are set incorrectly, the wash cycles will be counted in the background but will not appear in the overview. Check that the time and date are set correctly and correct both if necessary (Operating instructions can be found here: https://www.winterhalter.com/download-centre/).
Open MY.WINTERHALTER and open CONNECTED WASH / SETTINGS / Manage notifications. Here you can adjust the settings as you wish.
The number of entries is unlimited. So that you can always maintain an overview, you can filter which time periods are shown.
